The short version of the story so far...

I have been working at breeding Sepia bandensis for for about 2 years now. You can read more of the history by going to the Daisy Hill website linked on the left and reading the past progress section. That section was cumbersome to update, so I am migrating to this blog. We'll see if it was the updating difficulty, or if, in the words of David Cross, "I am a lazy".

As of now, I have a breeding group of 11 S. bandensis in a 100 gallon tank (there are also 2 3 month old cuttles in a different area of the system). The tank is half divided, but the dividers have open 'doors' - check out the equipment section of the Daisy Hill site for more info. The cuttles are 6 months old and have been mating for about a month. The group was raised from wild caught eggs, and I hope to have captive bred cuttles soon.
